Karis believes that creativity can connect people and this is what her artwork tries to achieve. Captain Duck commemorates the colourful history of smuggling in Hastings. He’s a friendly pirate – fresh from St Clements Caves in Hastings where he may have been up to some smuggling mischief – but he asks you to turn a blind eye!
