Design Inspiration
Mark and Issi Fisher are local artists, commissioned in 2020 to paint the very first Rubber Duck sculpture, affectionately known as ‘Albert’. The design celebrates the much loved buildings, events and scenery of Hastings and St Leonards – from the Pirate eye-patch to the RX fishing fleet, from Fireworks to Seagulls – full of familiar sights and sounds so evocative of our coastline.
